As a founding member of the American Fossil Federation, John always brought great knowledge and fun to our meetings, freely sharing his specimens and fossil-hunting adventures. He encouraged both new and experienced club members to pursue those fascinating, but elusive organisms from our planet's long history.
John will be much missed by his collecting colleagues and friends.
