Pamela Jean Webb Escalante

Pamela Jean Webb Escalante, 33, of Manassas, formerly of Leesburg, and Reston, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. One of seven children, Pamela was born on June 18, 1983 in Falls Church, VA. A daughter of the late Terry D. Webb, Sr., and Mrs. Juanita Chapman Webb of Reston, VA. As a little girl, Pam grew up on Main Street in Fairfax, moving to Herndon after her Dad’s passing in 1995. In 1997, the family moved to Leesburg where Pam attended Loudoun County Public Schools; returning to Fairfax County, Pam attended South Lakes High School. In 2001, she was blessed with her first daughter Alyssa, one of her greatest joys. A few years later, she met and married Rene Escalante-Avelar. They had four more beautiful children. Last July, Pam was so very happy, for the couple finally purchased a home in Manassas to raise their family. Pam’s years of battling cancer were courageous. She never gave up the fight, and will live on in the hearts and minds of all us that knew and loved her. For her family; Pam’s life with us was all too short but she will be remembered for her beautiful smile, rose colored cheeks, bubbly personality, quick wit and kind and gentle spirit. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, Mom, Aunt, Niece, Cousin and friend. In addition to her Mom, Pam leaves her beloved husband of twelve years, Rene Escalante Avelar of Manassas, VA, 5 beautiful children, Alyssa Marie Alvarado, Elizabeth Giselle Escalante, Rene Escalante, Jr., Nikolas deJesus Escalante, Dominic Alexander Escalante; her siblings, Belinda (Al) Meave of Palm Coast FL, Tracy (Juan) Aguinaga of TX, Terry (Kathy) D. Webb, Jr. of Leesburg, VA, Shannon Webb of Reston, VA, Billy (Larissa) Webb and Mike Webb all of Reston, VA; very special nieces, and nephews, Jackie, Robert, Victoria, Sage, Kiara, Kalin, Matthew, Meghan, Morgan, Stephanie, Alex, Kristina, David and Jordan. She also leaves aunts, Patty, Carol, Janet, Debbie, Brenda, Tammy; her mother in law, Eugenia Escalante Avelar of El Salvador, sister in law Jessy Escalante Avelar and brother in law Vicente Escalante Avelar, both of CA; and many cousins, other family, and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm on Friday, May 12, 2017, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lovettsville Union Cemetery. At the family’s request, flowers are welcome, or those who wish may make a donation to the family to help defray final expenses. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the wonderful care Pam received at the Adler Center in her final days.
