I don't have any good memories of Tony Breda. Not one. He was racially prejudice (he hated African-Americans with a passion). He was not a good person at all. He treated me worse than an animal. I am African-American and he hated me because of it. I remember him very well. He was one of the worst human beings I ever met in my life. He was a former chef at Lorien Harmony Hall in Columbia, Maryland. That is where I met him. That was in 1992. To this very day the memories of how bad he treated me still haunts. I wish I never met him.
Tony, You made a difference in the senior care industry with you love, sincerity, kindness and warmth. You being You is what has made all of us proud to be part of a wonderful community. You will be missed a lot, but remembered more....
Tony will be missed by so many. I feel honored to have known Tony as he was an extraordinary person with so many special talents and gifts. I will always remember his kindness, and his genuine, good natured personality. I pray that memories of special times carry his family forward in love and peace.
We were fortunate to get invited to the soft opening of Chef's Cutting Board. Tony holding court while showing off his knife skills; Tony and Peggy sharing their love story over several courses of great food and wine; new friends; it is a night we will both never forget.
