One of my fondest memories of growing up with Chris and his sister Jenny were all of the summers we spent together. Chris was always driving his sister and I around, to the movies, shopping and out to eat. ( Even if he had others plans with his friends he still took us) Chris had a huge heart and an infectious smile. Chris you are always in our hearts and on our minds. Marian Swartz
It is with great sadness that I have to write this message. I have known your father for a short period of 3-4 years, but in that short period of time, I have receive much council, friendship and genuine kindness. Your loss is my loss and it truly is ashame that he is no longer with us. But I have much room in my heart for the fond memories Chris has left behind. I will treasure them always. He truly was and is a kind soul. I'm glad I am one of the few in this world who got the opportunity to just know him a little. God speed to the family and much love.

To Sabrina and family: I was so devastated to hear the news about Chris. He was a good friend of mine and a great coworker at Lorenz. He was incredibly knowledgeable about so many topics and so competent at work. He could swoop in and quickly solve a sticky problem and then say, “Alright, let’s go to lunch.” We always had great conversations filled with laughter when Chris was around. I don’t know that I ever met anyone who opened my mind more to think about things in a new way. I admired him for being a good father as well.
