My Neighbor Don Fergus we hung out in the 60s and 70s since we were new to Santa Ana. Life was made easier because of our instant friendship. Going to school, movies, the mall and the Hockey Games made a big impression on me. "Hey Don you want to go out and do this and do that?: "Sure Jack, we can plan a day of cool things to do."
Mrs. Fergus you did put up a lot with our fooling around. I think of you always when Don is mentioned and when writing this tribute.

I will sadly miss Don. He was a joy to work with and I will always remember how he held his Canadian roots. He always showed up at ASIS Canada night....proud to tell everyone that he was born Canadian. Don and I shared many conversations as brethren's in Masonry. Godspeed my friend...and you were a friend.

Don was the gentleman that I admire for his kindness, friendliness, and his charm. He was always there to help, share his knowledge or to lend a hand. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Kathleen, although we’ve never met I wanted you to know that I think the world of Don and my heart goes out to you and your family. He will always be remembered.
