Peter Hicks
Don was my first pastor, and greatly influenced me to pursue a life in ministry. He encouraged me to develop skills as a singer, and gave me opportunities to minister in song as a boy whose voice was changing when some in the church found that uncomfortable. We were both very competitive, and enjoyed some fierce ping pong matches. My greatest moment was making an outstanding catch on a long fly ball he hit at a church picnic. He couldn't believe it!
