We only got to meet, in person, on a few occasions but have known you and Mary K through friends (Jerry and Monica, Wendy and David) for nearly 40 years.
You will be missed by all the lives you have touched.
Your perceptions were the icing on the cake.
More good times to come, when we meet again.
In the mean-time, know Mary K is in good hands with family and friends.

I saw a gathering today at Earnest's house. It confirmed what I dreaded. I knew Earnest for only a short time. I sporatically walk 3 Westies around the path at Foxridge Park and have for a number of years now. Whenever he would see me he would yell out "D'artagnan, how are the three musketeers?" We would share a few quick conversations and laugh. One day I struck up a specific conversation because I saw that Earnest had lost his hair. I asked, "Earnest, are you sporting a Chemo-Cut", he laughed and told me he was but thanked me for asking about his health. We still shared a couple of laughs. My times of seeing my newly acquired friend became fewer and fewer and since, each time I saw him, I knew he was feeling worse. Today I saw the gathering and my heart sunk. I confirmed what I hoped was NOT the case. My heart goes out to all of the many family and friends I saw present. Clearly he was loved by many. In so short a time he made an impression on me that made me look forward to running into him as I trekked the path. I know there is no condolence that can take away the sorrow except for the fact that he even touched more than everyone knew and Earnest will live on in the hearts of us all. I am sure God is chuckling at this very moment because of something Earnest said! God will surely keep him close! .
