I am so glad that around 2009 I had a whirlwind trip from Tucson, OK, Memphis, DC , Ohio, W. VA, and back that we (My son, my now husband and stepson) stopped to visit my Aunt Helen on our way from DC to Ohio. We called, said we were on our way to Ohio, but would like to see her for dinner if she could make it. I was happily surprised when she said Yes. I fellt bad that we didn’t have more time to spend with her, but so glad now that I didn’t decide against seeing her for that reason. My Aunt Helen is such a sweet lady and I loved to see her sneaky smile. Yes she was shy, but you knew when you saw that smile that she was thinking something funny. I would ask, what? She would always respond with some funny thought she was thinking, regarding what may have been going on around us. I love you and will miss that sneaky smile! Now you and my dad can be teasing each other again! My deepest sympathies to you Barbara and Richard. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I always liked when Aunt Helen would visit. She was the quiet one so I always knew she was the one who I took after in the family. God bless and prayers to Barbara and Richard and all those who loved her.

My Sister-in-law Helen was a very sweet and loving person. I remember when she came to Tucson she was always ready to go to the casino to play Bingo or the machines. Helen was a very quiet person and easy to love. My deepest sympathies to her children Barbara and Richard. I love you.
