I would like to share this collection of thoughts from Ingrid's former colleagues at the Embassy.
Hugh Brown: Very sad news. She was a great soul.
Chantal Briere: I remember her fondly.
Hani Nasser: Sorry to hear of Ingrid's passing. I remember her very fondly.
Sally Southey: Ingrid spoke truth to power, was creative, kind and generous. Please pass along my condolences to her family.
Pamela Vokey: Ingrid always had a lovely smile on her face, just as her photo speaks. I will remember her just like that.
Deborah Sherman-Bobo: So sorry to hear this she was a very nice person.
Sharyn Carroll-Jones: Very sorry to hear. Ingrid was such a lovely lady.
Terry Colli: Ingrid was my rock during all the days I led the Public Relations operation at the Embassy. She kept me out of so much trouble - and always with her gentle voice and warm smile. Finally she shall be reunited with her husband, Pete. The world is truly a much sadder place without Ingrid in it. RIP Ingrid.
Orbell Morrison That's so sad. I remember Ingrid well. Such a lovely lady and always smiling.
Lynda Bolfek She was truly a lady. Kind and thoughtful. RIP.
Judith Mann Costello (Canadian Consulate General, Atlanta): I never had the pleasure of meeting Ingrid, but I remember several phone conversations and email exchanges over the years. I’m saddened to learn of her passing.
JR Robertson: Damn, I loved that Lady.
Erica Fensom: I’m so sorry to hear this. She was such a pleasure to work with. My thoughts are with her family.
Curtis Barlow: Please convey my condolences to the family and tell them Ingrid is very fondly remembered.
Pepper Mintz: A lovely lady.
Kate Jones: Ingrid was one of the first people to befriend me at the Canadian Embassy. She set a high barre.
Anna Gibbs: Ingrid and I worked many years together. Like Terry Colli she kept me in line…well tried anyway. She was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I ever had the pleasure to work with. She was the oak tree in our Public Affairs Division for so many years. RIP Ingrid
RIP INGRID
(Embassy friends of Ingrid will be getting together to raise a glass and share memories in the near future and will share photos to this page.)
