So sad to read of murph's passing this morning. I had no idea or I surely would have paid my respects. He was such a great man, friend of the Kelleys . My father mentioned his name hundreds of times growing up in Vienna , later assisting me in my career with the FAA as well as Mr Cassidy . They all were such a tight group back in the days. Every trainee at the Washington center benefited from Mr Murphys professionalism, joyful personality, and was so respected by all. He was one of a kind. I wish him peace, and regret so much that I did not get a chance to pay my respects. But I enjoyed his video showing all his kids, great children , and a super, supporting wife.

I had the pleasure of seeing John at the Cornwall facility on his way to a doctor visit last month. We had a pleasant brief visit of two minutes with John. Char and I extend our deepest sympathy. John was the finest person that I had the honor of knowing. I regret that due to a prior commitment Char and I will be unable to attend the service.
