I have such wonderfull memories of our Moore Christmas and Luau Parties at Uncle Marvin and Aunt Marguerite's house with Karen, Marcia, David, Danny, and Mikey. All of us cousins, uncles, aunties, and grandparents would gather up and be one huge, happy family!!!
At one of those Christmas parties in the early 70s, I was performing one of my Soul Train dance numbers, "Jungle Boogie," for the family. Uncle Marvin was ammused with the sound from a particular instrument and would emulate it in a growling fashion, like a tiger, as he pretended to attack Aunt Marguerite or chase some of the kids.
I loved him and I'm so sorry I can't be with all of you at this time. May God bless all of your hearts now and forever.
