Riley Mcgovern
To the Negron Family,
I met Ralph when he was my Front Office Manager at Comfort Suites, and then I followed him to Hampton Inn as well. Ralph helped me in a time of uncertainty with school, and was a large part of why I changed my major to Hotel Management. He took me under his wing, and showed me the wonderful world of hospitality, which I had no genuine interest in prior to working at Comfort Suites.
In addition to being an astounding manager, I was fortunate to be able to also call Ralph a great friend. Whether it was bickering over who was better: the White Sox or the Orioles (my team), sharing a cold Bud at Bunker's, or watching Mr. Show skits together, Ralph never let there be a dull moment. I can't say this for many people, but Ralph truly was one of a kind. The room brightened up every time he made an appearance, and was a friend to all.
I send my condolences to the Negron Family, Ralph's friends and coworkers, and others who knew him and are sharing a time of mourning. He was a great man, and will be missed by all. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have met him, because he affected my life for the better more than he ever knew.
Sincerely,
Riley McGovern

To Ralph,
Thanks for helping shape me into the man I am today. The White Sox hat you got me is sitting on my dresser waiting for Spring Training. I'm not sure when just yet, but I'll be visiting you in Chicago soon, hopefully with Zack and Tyler. We all miss you.
I'll see you when I see you, hombre.
Mick
