Robert J. Zoldos, 71, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2015 at his home in Leesburg, VA. Bob was born March 24, 1943 in Carmichaels, PA, the son of Stephen and Lucy Zoldos. He graduated from Carmichaels High School. He was a Read Obituary
Bob was a fine professional and a good friend. He first assisted me with setting up "Operation Raincheck" in Norfolk, Virginia. We crossed paths again during our work in Air Traffic evaluations in later years. He was a fine man and will be missed.

I was so sorry to learn that Bob had passed and to miss his visitation. Bob was a great mentor for me in serving on the Town Council. He was the first councilmember I was excited to vote for after just moving to Leesburg, and I was very proud and fortunate to consider him a friend and ally when we served together. I can't think of anyone who was more kind and selfless in always putting our citizens first in all matters, and he was our key expert in considering fire and emergency safety when considering transportation and construction matters.
Bob was so proud of his family, and I know you are all proud of him. He will be missed by many, but I know his example will continue in his children and grandchildren.

I know your Dad is very proud of his son and what he has accomplished for the Town of Lovettsville. Your Dad now will be spending his time watching over you from above and saying, "That's my boy!" Your Dad is in the arms of the Lord and working on another chapter of his life's story.
I knew Bob from my years or working at FAA Headquarters, and our shared trips to and from D.C. on the Loudoun commuter bus. Bob was a gentleman and a gentle man; his sunny disposition and example of service is one I hope to emulate in the time I have left on Earth. Christ was very strong in Bob, and I am happy to know he now resides with the Lord.
