Sandra H. Bryan, 66 passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at home in Leesburg. Sandra was born on Sunday, September 2, 1945 in Washington, DC. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Horner and the late Miriam Beall Horner. Liv Read Obituary
Oh behalf of the Wheaton High School, Wheaton, MD, Class of 1963, I want to express our since condolences on the loss of our classmate. Sandy was a part of our lives for 10/11/12th grades (I do not know what school she attended prior to Wheaton). The photo posted here could pass for her HS Yearbook Photos! She was a great and loving friend and we will miss seeing her at our 50th Reunion. RIP dear friend....

I’m terribly sorry we can’t be there. Our family situation with Chris and Gloria’s disabilities just won’t let us make the trip.
You know I am an only child, and although I had other first cousins on my mother’s side, Sandy and Lynn were the ones I grew up with. Whether it was every Sunday at church, choir rehearsals at Grand Ruth’s, visiting one another’s houses or at school, we were together a lot. As we grow up, we each go our separate ways with our own families, but we never forget.
Unfortunately, as we grow older, we see more and more loss of loved ones and friends … very difficult!! Still, Sandy’s passing was way too soon. I am so sorry. I will miss her.
My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to you all. I hope that Christmas will raise your spirits, so you can remember the good times with Sandy.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your dear loved one. How comforting in knowing Almighty God has not only the power but also the desire to resurrect our loved ones. Sandy’s radiant personality provided the Energy Zone with the positive influence to brighten every day while providing professionalism in everyway! She was our creative star and choreographed and wrote tunes for our annual events such as our annual June parties, Holiday Luncheon and retirement festivities.
Everyone in the office joined in the celebration even if it required dressing up as Fresh Fruits and Vegetables and theme attire.
In her retirement she continued to support us and took time to write the “9-5-2-1-0 Zip Code to Your Health” tune for our Wellness promotion. Over 96,000 elementary school students could be heard singing this song during the October event.
We will forever miss and remember Sandy for her outgoing warm, caring persona, beaming smile and an eternal friendship.

Sandy was instrumental in making my years as a new teacher special. Her warm smile and willingness to help me made me feel Markham Elementary was where I was supposed to be. This is a testament to how she made everyone she met feel welcome. My thoughts and prayers are extended to family. May God dispatch His comforting Angels to surround at this difficult time.
