Captain Sandy Levey was member #6 in the Naval Submarine League, an organization he helped charter and participated in for over 20 years. His enthusiasm for the Submarine Force and the League was contagious and all who knew Sandy were amazed at his abilities to analyze problems and come to a logical conclusion. His work with the League demonstrated his care for the Submarine Force and the members of the League whom he eagerly sought during his active tenure on the Board of Directors and his service a Membership Chairman.
Sandy's business experience was instrumental in setting up the League. He worked with many of the senior members of the League in his accounting and tax business and was able to interact confidently with the leadership in directing the early days of the organization.
