SueB, as she was known to her friends, was one of my best friends ever. I’ve known Sue for nearly forty years when I stopped by her salon for a haircut. I’ve been going to her ever since until 2 years ago when she took ill. In the meantime, we became close friends, shared many stories and laughs together, day trips to local sites she otherwise probably wouldn’t visit and quite a few meals along the way. The photo was taken during one of our trips to the National Arboretum. When I was hospitalized, Sue visited me and helped my recuperation. We had a lot in common. Not the least of which – Sue was born in Korea and I spent a year in Korea while in the US Air Force. She was a dear friend and I miss her greatly.
