I just came upon this sad news. Sorry I lost touch my father’s family when he passed. I remember a smiling joyful aunt who loved family gatherings, especially at Christmas. It was one of my fondness memories as a child, when they lived in Farmingville. She will be missed but I know my dad is with her sharing a joke! Prayers to her loved ones. I hope they can take some comfort in the memories they shared together.
Momma Suzy!! Oh how we enjoyed your gracious hospitality, charm and wit. Thank you for the gift of our forever friend, Jacquie. Thank you for making us always welcome in your beautiful home and the infectious laughter you filled it with! We will always remember your kind and gentle way!! I will miss Suzie dearly. I will miss our conversations and her positive attitude. She was Allison’s biggest cheerleader and was always so proud of her granddaughter’s accomplishments. She would always be so excited to hear every little detail of what was going on in our lives from what our dinner was to how Allison was doing with her horseback riding and with her school work. She always had a cheerfulness about her despite her circumstances. I know she wished she could have spent more in person time with us and Allie. She could not travel the last few years but would send loving heartfelt cards and thoughtful gifts. I know Allie will cherish the storybook that she recorded so we can always hear her voice. Her excitement to speak with Allie on the phone was so special. We had a great time during her last visit with us. She stayed about 3 weeks and she taught Allie how to play Monopoly, the Game of Life, and Clue (our family favorite). Allie taught her how to use her flip phone! Allie loved to put on shows for grandma in the living room and in the back yard. We will miss her smile and giggles. I love you Suzie. May you rest in peace. God Bless, Joanne
God bless Suzanne to one amazing mother. May she rest in peace at her place in heaven. I remember her for being able to work a full-time job take care of the home and still be a perfect mother without complaint.
