Anthony Dwane Stephen
November 16, 1973 - August 24, 2018
"Anthony Dwane Stephen was born on November 16th, 1973 at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL to proud parents, Cynthia and Kimbrel D. Stephen. Upon moving to Matteson, IL Anthony’s God-given blessing to care for people helped him develop multiple life-long friendships. Anthony attended Rich Central High school, while there he used his brilliance to constantly out maneuver his father with creative ways of avoiding his studies. Even while avoiding school he finished in the top 10% nationally in math and attended Florida A&M University (FAMU) then graduated with a BS from Virginia Union. It was while Anthony attended FAMU he married the mother of his two sons, Joshua and Isaiah Stephen. He had the dream to make his family bigger and with that dream he created Armor Medical Supply, named after his beloved Grandmother Ora. During this time Anthony met his current wife Tenisha along with her daughter Kennedee. As we all know Anthony was the life of the party. From making incredible meals on the fly to drinks that would make your toes curl, Anthony knew how to have a good time. One thing that everyone has said over and over about him is that how much love he had for everyone he met and how much those people loved him in return. It was customary that for all milestones, major or not, he would throw a party. Let us remember Anthony in that way – with a drink in his hand and a smile on his face with the love of his family and friends around him always. Anthony Dwane Stephen is survived by his wife: Tenisha Stephen, children:, Joshua Stephen, Isaiah Stephen, and Kennedee Matthews, parents: Kimbrel D. Stephen and Stephanie Stephen, siblings: Britt Despenza-Green, Jasmine Stephen, godparents: Herbert Kyles, Autrill Bowman, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. "
