Bruce Wayne James Vietnam Veteran – United States Marine Corp Bruce James, 63, a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, who resided locally in Round Hill, Virginia. Mr. James passed quietly with family present in the VA hospital in Martinsburg, WV on June 22, 2018 after a struggle with pulmonary and arterial complications. Bruce James was born on November 11, 1954 in New Orleans, La. Mr. James was a long-time resident of Loudoun County, attended Broad Run High School and after his service in the Marine Corp resided in Round Hill, Va. He was an industrial painter for Radiation Systems Incorporated until his retirement. Bruce was ever the practical joker and prankster with his nephews and nieces, and he held a special bond with his family. All those he met enjoyed his sense of humor and good will. As we mourn his passing on this earth, Jesus Christ and the Angels rejoice at his arrival in Heaven. He will join his mother and delight in the presence of our Lord for eternity. We will rejoice together when we join hands and sing praise in our Lord’s presence. He is survived by his father, Joseph W. James; three siblings, Terrie Carmell and husband Tim, Randy James and wife Debbie, Kathy Fields and husband Ray; twelve nieces & nephews, Kristina Maddox, Daniel Hensley, Brian James, Stephanie James, Joseph Hensley, Conor James, Sean James, Dillon James, Grace Fields, Aidan James, Faith Fields, and Kevin James; and a host of cousins, and extended relatives. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at the Worship Center Assembly of God church on Gleedsville Road, Leesburg, VA on June 28th at 11:00am.
