Dennis W. Payne, age 90, of Leesburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, in Aldie, VA. Born Thursday, April 17, 1930 in Fairfax, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Payne and Viola (Miller) Payne. Beloved husband of Anna Payne. He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his wife of twenty-seven years, Anna (Hardy) Payne, a daughter Carolyn (husband Wayne) Curren, step sons: Ronald C. (wife Linda) Furr, Thomas R. (wife Crystal) Furr, daughter in law Jane Furr, grandchildren: Ronda, Tina, Kim, Kristie, Melissa and ten great grandchildren and three brothers: Larry Payne, Roger Payne and Gene Payne. He was preceded in death by step son Donald H. Furr and siblings William Payne, Thomas Payne, Aileen Woodson, Bearnice Ellis, Robert Payne Jr. and Walter Payne. He was employed by Whitney Jackson Electrical Company, Leesburg, VA as a Plumber for 20+ years. He loved working his garden, cooking and woodworking. The Funeral Service will be held at Leesburg Community Church 835 Lee Ave SW, Leesburg, VA 20175 on Monday September 21, 2020 at 1:00PM. A viewing will be held on Sunday September 20, 2020 from 2:00-4:00PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA 20175 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be held following the service at Union Cemetery in Leesburg.
