Louise Bedia Paccione

May 20, 1957 - March 18, 2022

Louise Bedia Paccione, 64, of Ashburn, Virginia passed away on March 18th in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 20, 1957, to the late Thomas Bedia and Jeanne Kennedy Bedia in Long Beach, New York Louise grew up enjoying her time with friends and extended family, pursuing her interests in music and theatre. After graduating from West Hempstead High School in 1975, Louise enrolled at Dowling College in Oakdale, New York where she earned a Bachelor of Arts of Education in 1979 and met her future husband and life partner for over 40 years, Thomas. Dating through college, the two married on February 2, 1980 at a ceremony in Island Park, New York. While starting a family and working full-time, Louise earned a Masters of Education from Adelphi University (Garden City, NY) in 1984. Professionally, Louise was a career educator. Primarily teaching middle school English, she was immensely proud of her time at Immaculate Conception School (Bronx, NY) and Saint Raymond School (East Rockaway, NY). After relocating to Ashburn, Virginia with her young family in 1995, she would volunteer in numerous roles in Loudoun County Public Schools for over 15 years, with one of her favorite events to work each year being kindergarten registration. After her own children were out of the house, Louise returned to work in education, initially as a substitute for LCPS before securing an opportunity as a front office secretary in Broad Run High School (Ashburn, VA). She referred to BRHS at her “happy place” and loved the opportunity each day brought to serve the Spartan Community. In just five years at Broad Run, Louise collected many dear memories working with the late Dolores Plant and all the wonderful teachers, staff, and students. Louise was a dedicated and loyal wife, mother, and grandmother. Always supporting her children’s passions and activities, she served in leadership positions with Girl Scouts of the USA, Ashburn Girls Guitar Ensemble, and in supporting positions for their many sports teams. In later years, Louise loved to spoil her two grandchildren and spend time with her family and three dogs. Louise is survived by her aunt and godmother Mary “Polly”, husband, Thomas, her children Vincent “Alex”, Hope, & Doug, grandchildren Dezi Louise & Daniella Mary, and niece Nicole. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Graveside Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Thursday, at the Lovettsville Union Cemetery, 12930 Lutheran Church Road, Lovettsville, VA 20180. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Broad Run High School Fine Arts Department, 21670 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA 20147. https://rb.gy/m6ga3y Please share condolences with the family www.LoudounFuneralChapel.com
