Mickayla Adrieanna Davis

Mickayla Adrieanna “Kayla” Davis, age 29, passed away on February 9, 2022, from liver failure while in a nursing home in Alexandria, VA. She was born on April 6, 1992, in Leesburg, VA. Kayla was the second daughter of Hugh Harris and Sandra Lynn Davis of Leesburg, VA. She is survived by her children, Mason Robert and Parker Marie Morano; her parents; her sisters, Mary Kathleen “Katie” Edwards, Hannah Grace Davis, and Victoria Gabrielle Davis; three aunts; two uncles; one niece; one nephew; eight cousins; and her beloved cat, Sonny. She was predeceased by her fiancé, James Julian Morano of Leesburg, VA. Kayla attended Leesburg Elementary, Smart’s Mill Middle, and graduated from Heritage High School in 2010. Growing up, she loved spending her summers in California visiting her aunts and cousins with her sisters. Sunny days at the beach, helicopter rides to Catalina Island, and trips to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm filled the agenda. Kayla was a shining beam of light with a smile that could turn your day around. She is a loved daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose absence is truly missed by all who know her.
