May 18, 2001 - December 6, 2021

NATHAN PAUL DEAN, 20 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. Nathan was born on Friday, May 18, 2001, in Falls Church, Virginia. Nathan is a graduate of Loudoun County High School, and was a proud Raider, class of 2019. Nathan was a Junior at Christopher Newport University pursuing a degree in Communications and was honored to be a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Nathan was passionate about all sports. He especially loved participating in football, basketball, dodgeball, and lacrosse. Throughout his life, Nathan played and refereed for Ida Lee Flag Football, CLBL Basketball and CNU Intramural Sports. Duke Basketball and the Denver Broncos were two of his favorite teams-there was not a sports statistic he couldn’t rattle off the top of his head. Nathan touched every person he met with his infectious smile, sweet laugh, and kind heart. Nathan leaves his family to cherish his memory, including his mom Karin, dad Brian, sister Zoë and brother Jordan of Leesburg, Virginia. Maternal grandparents Walter and Rosanna Sellers of Daleville, Virginia and paternal grandmother Jean Dean of Marion, Virginia. Nathan was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Young Miller and paternal grandfather Paul Dean. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A candle light vigil will be held at the Ida Lee Park Gazebo on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm. The front field will be open for parking. In the event of rain, the outdoor pool and soccer field parking lots will be available. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 5 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Friends are invited to gather at 1:30 at Cornerstone Chapel on Monday. Please feel free to bring a token in remembrance of Nathan that will be displayed on a memory table provided. A video tribute will be shown during a time of reflection until the service begins at 2 pm. Funeral services will be held, to celebrate Nathans life Monday, December 20, 2021 at Cornerstone Chapel located at 650 Battlefield Parkway SE Leesburg, Virginia 20175. The service time will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date by the family.
