Robert Benjamin Bordley

Robert Benjamin Bordley was born to Robert L. Bordley and Shelly Ferguson on August 21, 1959 in Cambridge, Maryland. He was the first of five children. Robert completed his education at East High School in Rochester, New York where he met Juanita Bordley. Robert played varsity football and Juanita was a cheerleader. After a mutual friend introduced them, they fell in love and upon graduation married on January 12, 1981. Robert proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer and Military Policeman with tours of duty around the world. He was honorably discharged in November 1982. After the military, Robert worked in the logistics industry and rose to become an Assistant Warehouse Manager for Premium Distributors. Additionally, Robert coached several successful Reston Youth Football teams and served as commissioner. He truly enjoyed coaching his own sons, his beloved grandson, and cooking for friends and family. When Robert was not working, he enjoyed hosting friends and family and loved to BBQ for those around him. Robert is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Raymond Bordley and Robert Bordley; mother, Shelly Ferguson of Rochester, New York; brothers Blackphut U-Ahk of New York; Raymond Bordley of Delaware; Greg Bordley of Delaware; sisters Hanifah Najeeullah of New York, Jewel U-Ahk Vrõman-Sánchez of Hawaii, and Sheila Bordley; grandson Daniel Little and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a mother-in-law, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and other relatives and friends whom loved him very much.
