I got to know Badal when he started playing badminton with our group. We carpooled from Ashburn to Sterling quite a few times, and during those rides he would share many insights about his endeavors. We often talked about our daughters’ college admissions — something we both were going through. In fact, we even had graduation parties last year at the same winery, at the same time, in adjacent halls.
He hadn’t been able to play badminton for a while because he was taking care of his father. I had been thinking about calling him a couple of weeks ago to see if he was ready to play again, and I’m going to regret not doing that forever.
We connected from the very beginning. I always found him honest, trustworthy, and genuinely good-hearted. I am — and we all are — going to miss him deeply.

School friends since jr kg in Ahmedabad. Always remembered him as joyfull and emotional person. He always looked out for others. Very difficult to belive he is no more. Had recently met up with his whole family when they came to visit London. Here is a video of him enjoying Leicester Sq. in London. Will miss him.
