Marshall S. Philpitt, a resident of Morningside House of Leesburg, went to be with our Lord on Wed. Nov. 9, 2011, at the age of 89. A native Miamian, Mr. Philpitt was born in Miami, FL, on February 6, 1922. He moved to Northern V Read Obituary
I only met Mr. Philpitt once and for a brief time but he was a sweet man and I would have loved to have spent more time talking to him.

Marshall was in my Rotary Club in Leesburg, VA. He and I talked about real estate mostly. I watched the video and had no idea that he was so involved during his life time. My father was also a bomber pilot in World War II and Marshall and I discussed this as well.

Mr. Marshall Philpitt was a respected resident at Morningside House of Leesburg for six years. He will be missed by residents and staff especially his bridge and bingo groups.
