Carol Thornton Padgett, 65, of Ashburn, VA passed away peacefully at her home on November 11th, 2013 surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years, Victor, daughters, Tara and Christine and sister-in-law, Sharon. Carol was born in Read Obituary

I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of your mother. Drew and I knew her thru her tireless and always pleasant shepherding backstage at VSA. Her grace under pressure was always an inspiration. May you draw comfort from the love and prayers surrounding you during this sad time.

To the Padgett and Thornton family. My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of Carol. She was an intregal part of our Very Special/VSA arts family. Carol was a board member, stage manager, advocate etc, etc. You knew when Carol was backstage that everything was under control as she exhibited "grace under pressure". I admired her for staying positive despite the medical challenges. I'll miss Carol alot and especially her laughter and smile.
