Carol Thornton Padgett's Obituary
Carol Thornton Padgett, 65, of Ashburn, VA passed away peacefully at her home on November 11th, 2013 surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years, Victor, daughters, Tara and Christine and sister-in-law, Sharon.
Carol was born in Atlantic City, NJ on September 25, 1948. She graduated from Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, NJ and worked for many years as an administrative assistant for The MITRE Corporation in McLean, VA. She enjoyed volunteering for the local Special Olympics and the Very Special Arts.
Carol is predeceased by her parents, Anne and James Thornton and brothers James, Jr. and John. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sister, Donald Devine (Celeste), Pat Thomson (Jim), Ed Thornton (Kelly), sisters-in-law Carol Thornton, Ginny Thornton and her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 21371 St Theresa Ln, Ashburn, VA on November 21, 2013 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 21371 St Theresa Ln, Ashburn, VA.
