David and I were greatly saddened to hear of Ed's passing. He was a stalwart member of the SoHo tennis and platform community who always gave of his time, energy, and competitive spirit to help in any way. I will always remember jockeying for court time with all his cronies on Tuesday mornings. They gave us a run for our money, but at the same time they always respected our mutual love for a competitive game of tennis. He was a constant presence on the platform courts on Saturday mornings for the Men's Round Robin and was always ready to play with any and all comers. He was a great gentleman on and off the court and will be sorely missed.

Tom and Kathy, Thinking of all of you and finding much relief knowing you have such a great gang to lean on. Thanks again Kathy, for sharing the photo you took with Tom and his brothers surrounding Ed's hospital bed. It was so beautiful and cute and amazing. Truly a thousand words. I can only imagine the rich stories being shared and the robust laughter/tears telling the old stories. Accept the love and support being offered and let us know if there is anything we can do.
