When I think of my grandfather, I think of my childhood. I had the best childhood growing up on his farm. I can still remember shelling those lima beans, riding my bike on his front porch, and listening to all of his stories. He was a master storyteller. I was always getting myself in some sort of mischief and he'd always rescue me. I can still see those twinkling eyes and that smile that could always brighten up my day. Although my heart aches and I miss him terribly, I know he's smiling down on us from above and never far away. I will keep his spirit alive in my memories until we meet again. I love you grandad.
