James H Hall Sr's Obituary
Mr. James “Jimmy” H. Hall, Sr. of Ashburn, VA, passed away at home on June 11, 2012. Born in Fairfax, VA on September 16, 1923 to the late John Harvey & the late Elsie Farr Hall. He was predeceased by a son the late John H. Hall.
Jimmy lived all of his life in Loudoun County and spent most of his life working on a dairy farm, except for when he served his country proudly in the US Army during WWII.
Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, he leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 65 years, Thelma Cockrell Hall; five sons, James, Jr. and wife Nancy of Harpers Ferry, WV, Billy of Gainesville, Roger and wife Helen of Leesburg, Rocky and wife Cathy of Harpers Ferry, WV, and Tommy of Ashburn; a sister Doris and two brothers Ernest Eugene Hall, and Barry Denton Hall; he also leaves 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 11 am on Friday.
Interment will follow in Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, VA.
