I am so saddened to find out today about Gerald. And, so sorry I didn’t get to see him again before he left this world.
Please know, family, that my heart goes out to you, Chrissy and Barbara. I thought very highly of sweet Gerald. He was really a nice man and a great landlord. A brilliant architect/builder always had a project going. He was always so kind to me and Mom and my Aunt Helen Casey who made curtains for him for the apartment he built attached to the garage. I loved living in the loft apartment upstairs when I did. Best apt I ever had and was a God send. Mom had been praying for a place that was affordable for me and it was right up the road walking distance from her! Perfect.
Chrissy, Gerald and I had a lot of good memories together there. We had a lot of fun.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss knowing he is not in Paeonian anymore. I will always remember him, a nice hard working man with a big heart, and a great sense of humor.
I hope you get this message. Hoping I can get in touch Barbara and Chrissy. I’m not sure how. Hoping you, Barbara are still there at the home place. My address is still the same.
