Your Mom was a very special person to me. During my growing up years she made me feel very special. I thought she was the "coolest" Mom around. Brought me joy that only she and I understood.
She was a blessing to those privileged to know her for so many years. Her love for the Lord ministered to many. She was bold about her faith.
I am sad for your loss but quite happy for her. She is rejoicing with her Father.

Dear Betty, Steve and Cindy, I was very saddened to learn Cousin Jesse's passing.
As I am sure you remember she was my father, John Havener, first cousin.
I have many fond memories of cousin Jesse growing up in Waxpool and Ashburn. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May God bless each of you during this difficult time. May He bring comfort and peace to you all.

We were so saddened to learn of the passing of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Jessie was our father’s first cousin, and we have many fond memories of her from our childhood days growing up in Ashburn. She was very active in the Fire Department and the Calvary Baptist Church. She also helped your grandmother, Mrs. Geneva Fletcher, and the other women on the farm in cooking and preserving the meats from the animals that were butchered every year. While it has been many years since we have seen her, we will always remember her as a very dear, sweet lady. She will be missed by all who knew her.
While it is difficult to lose a loved one, we can take comfort in the fact that she is now reunited in Heaven with all of her loved ones and friends who have gone on before her.
May God grant you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

What a beautiful lady Jessie was. She made my employ at Creekside so memorable by visiting the office every morning just to give me a kiss. She will be missed. ❤️
