Jim was a colleague of mine at Booz Allen for many years. I worked with Jim on several projects for U.S. Defense clients during the course of my association with Jim. What I remember most about Jim was his willingness to lend a helping hand to me and others, his kindness to everyone he worked with, and his dry wit at times! I enjoyed hearing his stories about his family outings to Lake Anna. My work memories of Jim are fond ones and he helped me become a better leader and a better person. I will miss him.

I was sadden to learn of Jim’s passing. He was my manager and mentor at Booz and a friend to me. He was easy to talk to and a great person to work with on projects. He always had a positive outlook on life and family. I’ll always remember meeting up with him a few times out on Lake Anna, when I use to ski down there. My condolences to Jim’s family. Jim was a true role model and mentor in my early days at Booz Allen in the early 2000s. I was young and new to the consulting field and his leadership and mentorship helped me develop professionally and become a strong leader like him. Jim was a wonderful friend to have in my life. My family and I had the pleasure of knowing him and his family since 1995. I remember many birthdays we shared together!! Growing up, I had 4-5 kids that I considered my best friends. Out of all of them, Jay was the one that you could always count on. He was the type of person that you really wanted to be around. He never passed judgement, and always had a kind word to say about all. He taught me so much, helped me get my first real job, and stuck up for me during tough times. He had too many positive attributes to list.
