Sharon and Lynne,
Today I read about John's passing. In the past, he was the one who kept me abreast of others' passings. I am so sorry for both of you, as he was one of the best men I ever met. A man of principle and loyalty, which made him a great disciple of Jesus.

Needless to say that I was shocked as he did not mention anything about his illness. I stumbled upon the notice on Facebook. I pray that our Lord blesses you with the grace of comforting peace.

Sharon, I was shocked and saddened by Johns sudden passing. I never knew him well but i know your loss and your family's loss is devastating. My thoughts are with you all. You had so many years together and all those memories will serve you well.

Davis family, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Davis. He was such a great man, and I have so many fun memories from your home in vb, church, Stanton, vt, and visits with Laura in Leesburg. Mr. Davis had such a fun sense of humor, and I always think of a joke that he would say to waitresses in restaurants....he would order a pine float, and would explain that it was a water with a toothpick!
