Sharon and Lynne,
Today I read about John's passing. In the past, he was the one who kept me abreast of others' passings. I am so sorry for both of you, as he was one of the best men I ever met. A man of principle and loyalty, which made him a great disciple of Jesus.

Needless to say that I was shocked as he did not mention anything about his illness. I stumbled upon the notice on Facebook. I pray that our Lord blesses you with the grace of comforting peace.

Davis family, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Davis. He was such a great man, and I have so many fun memories from your home in vb, church, Stanton, vt, and visits with Laura in Leesburg. Mr. Davis had such a fun sense of humor, and I always think of a joke that he would say to waitresses in restaurants....he would order a pine float, and would explain that it was a water with a toothpick! Thank you, Mr. Davis for the laughs and the wonderful memories! Mrs. Davis and Lynne, my heart goes out to you, and you are always in my prayers-love, Susan
