It is with great sadness that I learn of Karen’s passing. She was a beautiful soul and a loving, caring person. I enjoyed all the years spent doing Girl Scouts with her. She was committed to scouting and made it a wonderful experience for so many young girls and leaders. My condolences and prayers to her daughter, Becky and extended family.
So sorry to hear of Karen's passing. I worked with her during her time with Loudoun County Gov't. She was a kind soul and a joy to work with.

It is my deepest sympathy to know of Karen's passing. My condolences to Becky and her family. She had a heart of GOLD. She touched many lives with her beautiful heart, smile, and loving care of services to the community. I met Karen in 1996, while working at Loudoun County DFS and remained in contact even after we both retired. Karen, you have earned your Angel's Wings. May you ascend to Heaven knowing that God's purpose for you on this Earth has been certainly fulfilled. Rest in Eternal Peace my friend.
This lady stole my heart when I worked with her at Interfaith Relief in Leesburg, Virginia in 1993. She would always show how much she loved the community when we would prepare food packages for those who needed it the most. So sorry to hear of Karen’s passing and my condolences to the family. I first met Karen when I started volunteering at Interfaith Relief and she was in charge. That was maybe in the 80s? Always cheerful and positive, with her own trials over the years, Karen always thought of what she could do to help others. And she did plenty. I’m honored to be able to say we were friends.
Karen was a very special person indeed!! So many selfless contributions to so many lives! God bless her dear family and her precious soul! xoxoox
