Aunt Laura-You have forever left an impression on our hearts. From our vantage point, you have always been seen as the 'fun' or free spirited one of your siblings that seemed to go out and do things your way. Your offspring of course know you best and may disagree, but for us, I never knew what seemingly juvenile thing might come out of your mouth that would turn Vi or my grandfather red faced...Pete could do that at some level with his 70+ year old (at the time) gruff sounding) F-bombs about...and you with your witty ability to insinuate or elude to something about the teenage/recently married 'lovebird' disposition...we were like 'did she really just say that but not actually say it but elude to it?"... classic. When we tell the stories of our ancestors to our children and children's children it won't simply be some uneventful name on a family tree and that she and Andy lived here and worked there, etc...we will surely also convey just how much we enjoyed our time with you and that if anything, it is okay to have a young mind and make some of the young ones flush red in the face once in a while. I/we are so saddend to hear of Aunt Laura's passing. I will miss talking with her very much and hearing her voice. I loved the moments we were able to see each other over all the years, she was so full of life, & spunk (fiesty too) lol! and could walk circles around me! :0). Thinking of all of you and knowing how difficult this time is, Uncle Andy was a special man and knowing he is missed as much. Forever Aunt Laura will remain in my heart.
