We got introduced to Steve years ago by our own mechanic that was leaving the area. I haven't let anyone else touch my car "Faith" since. I loved running into the back of the shop and giving him a hug!! Even though I know he was everyone's mechanic, he always made me feel like he was my personal one. I was extremely blessed to have had him in our lives........He always made me feel better about any stress I was feeling about my car. What a beautiful way to save people. Heavens gain, Earths lost.

Steve worked with my husband at merchants and he was a mentor to him and taught him a lot. He was also a great friend. He was always so nice to me and my kids when id go see my husband at work. He always made us laugh and have a good time. My condolences to his family during this very difficult time. He will be greatly missed. Gone but not forgotten.

Brenda and I send our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Cousin Betty and Vandon, to Barry and his family, to Vanda and her family, and to Erin Steve Thomas, and his family, in the passing of Steve. I have a distant memory of a visit to the Thomas household in Lamesa, TX, in the Summer of 1955. I was around 9 years of age. Betty was pregnant with Steve, and Vandon was kidding around with us, saying that Betty had a wish for some pickles and ice cream. We all had a good laugh. Not long after that, Steve arrived, and brought joy and happiness to your family these many years.
