Leland Steve Thomas' Obituary
Leland “ Steve” Thomas, 61 passed away on September 2, 2016 in Poolesville, Maryland.
Steve was born in Lamesa, Texas to Vandon and Betty Thomas on July 26, 1955. He married Diane Gates on May 31, 1980 in Alexandria, Virginia. He worked as a mechanic for Merchants Tire for close to 40 years and most of his career was spent at the Merchants in Leesburg, VA.
He is the loving son of Vandon and Betty Thomas. Father of Erin Steve & his wife Samantha Thomas, brother of Barry and his wife Karla Thomas, Vanda and her husband Jeff Danielsen. Grandfather to Maxwell Thomas and also survived by his nieces Tonya Collins, Michelle Danielsen, Lauren Thomas and Ashley Danielsen. Steve was preceded in death by his former wife, Diane.
Friends may call on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6-8pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg,VA where a service will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00am.
