Peter Livingston and his wife, Donna, both 48, along with their daughters, Everly, 14, and Alydia, 11, passed away together as a family on January 29, 2025, aboard American Airlines Flight 5342. Peter was born on May 18, 1976 in Read Obituary
My favorite memory was with Lydi when we were at Nationals for theater on ice we both were hanging out and she was a BALL OF ENERGY she would laugh and giggle with me she was just so fun to be around and I have been missing her ever since. Miss you Alydia!!
The fact that it was preventable makes it sadder if only the pilot of the vh60 which was the helicopter involved in the crash listened to orders from atc and her flight instructor as she was training
I was a friend of Alydia’s, after I moved away we never texted, the last text I had from her was when I was invited to dinner with her family, which I declined because my parents already made dinner, and right now I’d do anything to go back and just ask if I could, or try to arrange something else, Alydia was a friend, and a sister figure to me, I miss her everyday and I know she would have been a great figure skater and achieved all her dreams, one of which was to be in Disney On Ice.
I am a Northern Virginia native. I didn't know this family but I love watching the figure skaters. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
I didn't know the family personally but we share a last name. The motto has always been if your last name is Livingston we are related somehow. I'm of the New York Livingstons, a large & prolific family. These Livingstons, gone to soon, are forever in our prayers.

Livingston and Smojice families, I am heart-broken for your loss. Friday’s memorial service was beautiful. Both Everly and Alydia were my students @ Dominion Trail ES. The memory of them that makes me smile is of the video they submitted for the school’s talent show during Covid. The girls did a joyful rollerskating routine in the street. It was a difficult time in the world, and their rollerskating routine lifted our spirits.

I was fortunate to play 5 years with Peter on 2 different teams; his joy and enthusiasm for the game will not be forgotten. More importantly, his love for his family came shining through in many locker room conversations. May they all rest in peace.
As a kid, my family would visit our Virginia cousins every summer. My sister, brother and I always looked forward to seeing/hanging out with Peter and our other cousins down south. I will always remember Peter for his great sense of humor and ability to make every visit fun and full of memories. Many prayers are being offered for the entire Livingston family and their friends.
Peter was a friend who looked out for and cared for those he was close with. His humor was unmatched, and in hindsight, his occasional badgering feels more like a unique expression of endearment. As a teenager, Peter possessed a form of wisdom that transcended time. The morning and afternoon banter, delivered from behind the wheel of the Chevy Caprice station wagon, will remain atop my favorite memories with him. I regret that I cannot thank him for being such a good friend to me. My heart aches knowing such a wonderful family is gone.
