We met Louise and Jim at the University of Southern California in 1965 when we were in a class of Air Force officers enrolled in a Research and Development program for a Master of Management degree. We have enjoyed corresponding with them over the ensuing years, and cherished their friendship. We will miss our exchange of views and jokes. We are glad that Jim has a good environment to sustain him. We can sympathize with the family at the loss of your matriarch ( she would laugh at this characterization) and hope that time will ease the sense of loss. Our love to Jim

I met Louise in the Washington D.C. Alumni Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon shortly after I graduated from college, where we worked together on the chapter board. We stayed in touch and I was able to visit Louise and Jim at Lake of the Woods and later at Falcons Landing.

For many years, her Christmas card was the first one I received (while mine was probably the last one she got every year) We met up several times at band concerts at Rachel Schlesinger Hall & Brucker Hall on Ft. Myer.

I will miss her friendliness and upbeat spirit and send my condolences to her family.

My memory of Louise are when I was a new member of the Southeast Community Chorus, then the Southern Maryland Choral Society. I remember her quiet spirit, loving smile and gentle voice. I am so blest to have known her loving kindnesses to me. God bless you all, and know my love and prayers are with you. May the Comforter, the Holy Spirit be with you and bring you peace.

Louise was sweet, warm and always full of compliments when the Treble Clefs performed at Falcons Landing. She smiled throughout our entire concert each time we performed there. She will be greatly missed, and if we are lucky enough to be invited

I was a newcomer when I first met Louise at a concert here at Lake of the Woods, and she welcomed me to this community and the culture it offered. She introduced me to the Community Concert Association as well as her bridge table. Louise,Jim, my husband Mel and enjoyed a splendid European River trip together.
