Vivian...I have very fond memories of helping Doug on Sundays at nursing homes. He had a big compact on my Christian formation. I regret we lost contact a number of years ago...but I am assured I will see him again. Blessings to you and your family...Gordon Leib.
Doug Satterwhite was a hero to me and to the entire conservative movement. He was a A giant of a man, spiritually and politically. He was also a model family man—married to his precious and loyal wife, Vivian, for 60 wonderful years. He left behind many fine Satterwhite families who will carry on his great legacy for many generations to come.

Doug was one of nicest, most sincere person I've ever known. His love of God and service to the church at large and the community are an example for all of us to follow.
Vivian, I am so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing! You and Doug were LCRC Sterling District staples, and your hard work and generosity was/is inspiring! Dear ones, thank you both for the many hours we spent volunteering together and visiting at meetings, and I’m sorry we lost touch. You both always had a kind word for me and I can still hear Doug’s distinctive laugh! Prayers for you and your family! Doug is certainly missed!

Ken and Doug were great friends at Faith Bible Church. I wish I had a picture to share of the "white house" on the property where they spent many hours fixing it up. It was so bad that there was a wild goat that lived in it! Ah...fond memories of our years at FBC. Now he and Ken can spend an eternity getting caught up.
