Mr. Paul H. Tobler, Jr., (P.H.), 61, of Leesburg, VA, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Paul, the son of the late Paul Haynes Tobler, Sr. and the late Evelyn Priscilla Frye Tobler, was born on December 6, 1946 in Warrenton, VA. Read Obituary
Paul Tobler was my 5th grade teacher at Douglass school. So many things I will always remember about that man from fish nets to the game Caps. I now work at that very same building. I was one of his managers on the LCHS boys soccer team. He was and will always be one of the greats in Loudoun County. My warmest thoughts go out to his wife whom I remember as Ms. Kennedy when she was teaching me P.E. and to all his family. He will be missed by many and never forgotten by all.

I was truly blessed and lucky to have had him influence my life during those impressionable years. He made me a better person and student. He will be missed and was loved by all. Your family has been part of our lives for so many years and we can't imagine Paul not being part of all of our lives. But Paul is someone who will always be remembered for his good and giving spirit. He will always be in our hearts as will all of you.
Barbara-you taught our kids, and I taught Keeley and Merrie in pre-school, two of the cutest,little blondes I've ever gotten to cuddle. I often saw Paul at Douglass in those years.
John knew Nathan and speaks very highly of him. You and Paul did an amazing job!

It was with great sadness that I learned of Mr. Tobler's death. He has always been "Mr. Tobler" to me ~ he was my fifth grade teacher 33 years ago. He has always been my all-time favorite teacher! I worked with Paul at Leesburg Elementary for many years and also when I went to the central office often spoke with him on many occassions. He will be missed and was loved by all. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
