We all liked Bill very much he would tease us about living in Ohio and i teased him about being from NYC. We had a lot of good times over the years I am glad i got to know him,he will be missed R.I.P Bill . We will miss your cooking too.If you wanted to know where Bill was just listen for the deep voice, now silent, so sorry for the family.
My Favorite memory of Bill would be the first time I met him in Queens NY in 2001. He found out I was from Ohio and kept quoting the Drew Carey show cause it was filmed in Cleveland Oh. He kept saying “it only takes 20minutes to get anywhere in Oh”. Then we all went to a local Pub and drank and played pool. Bill of course won every game.
My favorite memory of Bill Saar is when the whole family was at our house for Christmas. Right after appetizers while we were setting the table for dinner Bill started singing Christmas carols. We set the table and joined in. It was one of the most memorable and magical times. Everyone sat down after dinner and talked him into singing more. And that was how we spent the rest of the night. As a family, singing songs of the season and enjoying each other. We love you and you will always be with us.
