i remember one time abbey was like i can jump farther than you down the steps and i said no you cant and she jumped and made it. So it was my turn and i jumped and broke my ankle and she carried me to the nurse and it hurt so bad. We laughed for like 30 minutes. i miss my bestfriend so much

That day when I first met you all, I remember thinking, "what a great family." Every time that we got together, Abbey seemed to be so connected to you all, and there was so much love there. I know that there is never an adequate word to describe the pain that comes and goes with the loss of a child, but I can see that you all are surrounded with family and friends who are helping bear her loss. She is truly looking down on you all to make her passing a bit better.

I will say a prayer that you all are reunited in heaven as a family and that no parent should experience the grief that you all are carrying today. God Bless!

Abbey would stop by my science classroom many times during the course of each school day to hang out with me for a few moments. She shared her humor, pictures of her dog, her beautiful smile, her latest silly thing that happened, artwork, and her spur of the moment interests. I always enjoyed Abbey's visits and just enjoyed Abbey. Abbey was always sweet and kind, and I thank God that I got to share in knowing Abbey.
