Adla Zarou's Obituary
ADLA (ARESYAK ZAROU), age 90 passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family.
Preceded in death by her husband Ibrahim Zarou of 62 years.
ADLA is survived by her 4 children: daughter Denise (Jeffrey), sons: Charlie (Donna), Wael (Colleen), Nael (Dana). She considered her children a great blessing as well as her brother Farid Batshon , 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Jaffa, Palestine, she and her family emigrated to New York in 1964. Six years later they settled in Virginia where she continued her devotion rearing her four children.
Her family was her life and meant everything to her. Her cooking skills were known to all that were fortunate enough to have sampled them.
She personified what it meant to be a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker.
Possessing a terrific sense of humor, she loved to laugh, and socialize with family and friends.
Her family mourns her passing, but is most appreciative and thankful for her gifts to them. Her gifts of life, constant love and care and devotion to her family.
Her memory will live in our hearts forever. Always loved - forever missed - and never forgotten.
