The Lewis family from the Lee Boulevard Heights gang has so many great memories of Al and your family during those important early years. What an honor to raise our families together. Al was good friend in college and part of my wedding party. He was truly an amazing person who stood on principal and would advance what was right even when it was extremely hard to do. He took such exceptional care of his family and friends, that he’s one of the best people you could know. he always participated in the community, being part of the city council in Oriental, and working in community groups wherever he went, so the neighborhood was always better, because Al was there. I have so many wonderful memories of all the fun, sometimes crazy, things we did , please let me know when the memorial service will be held. Tim Burrell.

Our time with Al as limited to special occasions, yet rewarding in nature to have experienced his wit and knowledge of his contributions to family, friends, and the communities he served.
