Albert Burch Hodges' Obituary
ALBERT BURCH HODGES, 82, of Ashby Ponds, Ashburn, Virginia, formerly of Fredericksburg, VA died on Monday, January 16, 2012. Mr. Hodges was born May 19, 1929 in Salisbury, MD to the late Albert and Thelma Horner Hodges. A brother, Jack H. Hodges also predeceased him. Mr. Hodges lived in Arlington for many years and worked with his father and brother who founded a contracting company, Hodges Company. Mr. Hodges is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Jeanne Rawlings Hodges of Ashburn; two daughters: Susan H. Gladwin of Fairfax, VA, Gahl H. Burt of Washington, DC; four grandchildren: Jennifer D. Gladwin, Jordan R. Gladwin, Christopher R. Burt, Caroline H. Burt, and a great grandson: Declan S. Gladwin . Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 3rd 2012 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg, VA. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
