Alexis Sean Donbergs' Obituary
Alexis “Alex” Sean Donbergs, 46, passed on Wednesday, November 6th 2013 in Sterling, Va.
Alex was born August 19th 1967 in Washington, DC. As a boy he played sports with Loudoun Little League, attended Sterling Elementary and Seneca Ridge Middle School. Due to his father’s travels with the US Government, he grew up overseas living in Vienna, Austria, Bangkok, Thailand and Munich, Germany where he graduated from Munich American High School. Alex earned his BA degree from University of Maryland.
Alex was a lifelong athlete and excelled at a variety of sports. He is survived by his beloved parents, Boris Curt and Judith Lynn Donbergs of Sterling, Va; his only brother Roman Curt Donbergs; two cats and a multitude of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE in Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sterling Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, North Sterling Station, 46700 Middlefield Drive Sterling, VA 20165 or the Loudoun County Animal Shelter, C.A.R.E. Medical Fund , 39820 Charles Town Pike, Waterford, VA 20197.
